Autonomy levels
How much Lea does without you is one setting per agent, with three levels. The app describes them like this:
| Level | What it means |
|---|---|
| Suggest in chat | Lea says what changed and what comes next. You decide by replying. |
| Ask first | Lea puts the next steps in Needs you. Nothing new starts until you approve. |
| Act, then tell me | Lea takes the next steps, starts new milestones, and tells you; you can undo each. Anything outward, a colleague’s items and the brief still wait for you. |
Act, then tell me is the default.
Which turns it applies to
Section titled “Which turns it applies to”The level applies to the turns that changes start: a worker finished, a review came in, someone else edited an item, a new KPI number arrived.
When you start the turn (you chat with Lea, @mention her, decide one of her cards, answer her, or give her an item), she uses her full permissions at every level. Asking her to do something is the go-ahead.
What each level allows in a turn that changes started
Section titled “What each level allows in a turn that changes started”| Suggest in chat | Ask first | Act, then tell me | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Read, comment, post updates, record KPI numbers, attach outputs | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Review items at her own review stage | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Stop a run that is going the wrong way | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Change the plan | No: she writes the suggestion in her reply | Every change becomes one card | Applies, and she tells you |
| Retry, unblock or pause an item | No | As a card | Applies |
| Start a new milestone, or move one into Now | No | As a card | Applies, with Undo |
| Edit the spec of an agent-owned item whose spec you wrote | No | As a card | Applies; she quotes the change as a diff |
What is a card at every level
Section titled “What is a card at every level”Some changes always wait for a person, whatever the level:
- Minga’s outward actions: anything Minga itself would send or publish. Items that publish something end at a person’s approval; Minga does not send them.
- The brief.
- A colleague’s items: items owned by or assigned to a person, and a description a colleague wrote.
- The team’s shape: areas, agents, and an agent’s own level and powers. An agent can never raise its own level.
What stays the same at every level
Section titled “What stays the same at every level”- Planned work keeps running. Once a milestone is in Now, workers start on ready items at every level. The level limits what Lea starts, not the scheduler.
- Pause stops everything. The level is the dial; Pause is the brake.
At Act, then tell me, when Lea creates, moves or edits something on her own, her chat message offers Undo (not for closes or cancels). Anyone who can edit the plan can use it. If something changed since, Undo says in plain words what it cannot restore.
Change the level
Section titled “Change the level”- the chip in the chat header switches it in one tap;
- Project settings › Lea shows the three levels with their descriptions (other agents: Project settings › Agents).
A switch takes effect at Lea’s next action, also in the middle of a turn.
