What Minga is

Minga gives each of your software projects a lead agent, Lea. You talk the goal through with her in chat. She writes the brief, breaks the work into milestones and items, hands each item to an agent running the Claude Code or Codex CLI on one of your own machines, reviews what comes back, and brings you only what needs your decision.

  • Lea is the lead agent of a project. She owns the plan, decides what happens next, and reviews work against each item’s checks. You can add more agents for parts of a project, but every project has one lead.
  • Workers are temporary agents that do one item each. They show up as W-12, W-13 and so on, and they stop when the item is done.
  • Runners are the machines you pair: your Mac, a Linux box, a VPS. The minga runner on each one connects out to Minga and runs workers in the CLIs you already use, with your own setup.
  • You set the goal, agree the plan, and decide what only a person should decide: approvals, answers and reviews.

Every project has five tabs, and each answers one question.

Tab The question it answers
Overview Where do we stand?
Chat What did we discuss?
Plan What is the work? (List, Canvas and Outputs)
Team Who is doing what?
Needs you What waits on me?

A tour of the app walks through each one.

  • Minga does not host machines for you yet. Work runs on runners you pair. Cloud runners are being explored.
  • Minga is not a replacement for Claude Code or Codex. It runs them. Each run uses the CLI’s own tools, settings and permission modes, plus Minga’s plan tools.
  • Minga is not open source and not self-hostable today.
