Terms of use
Last updated
These terms apply to your use of Minga: the app at app.minga.run, the minga runner, and Minga's MCP server. Minga is provided by Jannik Jung, jung.dev – Software Solutions & Consulting, Hauptstraße 92, 69469 Weinheim,Germany ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Early access
- Minga is in early access and free of charge for now. If we introduce prices, we tell you beforehand, and paid use will need your separate agreement.
- Features change often, can be removed, and may not always work. There is no guaranteed availability or support time. We announce larger changes in the app or in the changelog.
- Minga is meant for building software. Use it for work you can afford to review.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, and the details you give must be true.
- Keep your password, passkeys, runner tokens and MCP connections safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
- If you use Minga for a company, you confirm that you may bind it to these terms. Owners and admins of a workspace decide who may join it.
3. Your machines, your tools, your accounts
- Work runs on machines you pair, in the Claude Code and Codex CLIs, with your own accounts at Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub and other services. Their terms apply to that use, and those providers bill you for it. You are responsible for following their terms and usage policies, including any limits on how their plans may be used.
- Runs do what your CLI's permission mode and Minga's access modes allow. They can edit files, run commands, and, with your git and
ghlogins, push, merge or close pull requests. Lea and workers are instructed to open draft pull requests and leave merging to you; that is an instruction, not a lock. Choose the access mode that fits the machine and the repos on it. - Agents make mistakes. Review what they produce before you rely on it, ship it, or show it to anyone. Keep your own backups; your repo stays on your machine.
4. Your content
What you and your agents put into Minga (briefs, plans, chats, files, transcripts) stays yours. You allow us to store, process and show it to the members of your workspace, only as needed to run Minga for you. You confirm that you have the rights to the content you bring in, including personal data of others. How we handle personal data is in the privacy notice.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Minga to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others, including copyright and privacy;
- build, spread or run malware, or attack, probe or overload systems you are not allowed to test;
- send spam or carry out fraud, or create content that is illegal where you or we are;
- get around Minga's limits or security, access other workspaces, or put an unreasonable load on the service (for example by automated mass sign-ups or requests);
- violate the terms or usage policies of the model providers and other services your runs use.
6. Ending your account
- You can stop using Minga and delete your account at any time under Account › Profile.
- We can end early access for you, or altogether, with two weeks' notice by email or in the app. We can suspend or close an account without notice for an important reason, in particular a serious breach of section 5 or a risk to the security of Minga or other users.
- Before your access ends without your choice, we give you the chance to copy your content, unless the reason for ending it rules that out.
7. Liability
Because Minga is free of charge during early access:
- We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we gave a guarantee.
- For slight negligence we are liable only for breaching an essential obligation, one that makes using Minga possible at all and that you may rely on, and then only for the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of service.
- Otherwise our liability is excluded. This applies also to our helpers and agents.
- We are liable for defects in Minga only where we concealed them fraudulently. We are not liable for the work your agents do on your machines, for the services of third parties your runs use, or for lost data you could have restored from your own copies.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when Minga changes. We tell you about a change at least two weeks before it takes effect, in the app or by email.
- A change that touches what Minga does for you, prices, or liability applies to you only once you accept it in the app. If you do not accept it, either side may end the contract with effect from the date the change takes effect.
- Other changes (for example clearer wording, or rules for a new feature that do not touch the above) apply from that date unless you object before then. If you object, either side may end the contract with effect from that date. We point this out again in the notice.
9. Law and place of jurisdiction
- German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live still applies.
- If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the place of jurisdiction is Weinheim, Germany.
- If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remain in force.
